I STRONGLY discourage anyone from taking Wind Power. The lectures are disorganized and uninteresting. I thought the class was going to bestow practical knowledge concerning wind turbines on me, but it was the complete opposite. It is all off-the-deep-end wind turbine theory. Unless you get off to derivations and fluid theory, stay away from MAE 402

He's a bit fudgy in his lectures, always loses the class in his endless equations and derivations. But hey he's a great guy, arranged for the class to go flying. Way cool! Very helpful in office hours, this guys knows his stuff really well.
