He is a tough grader. But he is a great professor. I learned a lot from his class. I think some of the raters need to be more objective when rating the professors. I would say Benoit is one of the best lecturers I have ever had in Vanderbilt.

Prof. Dawant is somewhat interesting - he has a noticeable accent, but i found it fairly easy to understand everything he said. However, he moves extremely quickly through everything and assumes everyone pretty much knows everything already. In the end, though, his tests are fair and you should do okay.

I don't know what other people are saying, Dawant is great. Probably one of the most charismatic professor's I've ever had. Heard he is a little harder than Snape who is the other prof who teaches 214. He knows his stuff, and his accent is awesome. His help sessions are great and his tests are very fair. I've learned a lot in this class.
