I took AP Calc during my senior year of high school & I still found this class so difficult. She is fond of handing out worksheets for the class to complete in replace of a lesson taught by her. She is not helpful whenever a student has a question. There are a lot of tough & confusing group projects, which do not help with learning the material.

She is Calcu-less than great. The projects she assigns are very confusing and she could be more approachable. I would caution my peers to avoid classes with her if possible. Otherwise, prepare for your GPA to decrease at a linear rate.

Prof. Tutinas (definitely not called by her first name like a lot of other professors at Goucher) is tough, especially if you're not in the math department. Linear Algebra was tough, but not murderously so. She gives a pretty heavy load of homework and regular quizzes, but at least you know where you stand.

I had her in 1994. I had mixed feelings about her. I believe she was a good teacher and perhaps I was getting used to the level of work expected but she had a certain level of curtness.

The daily homework is hard, and she can be very picky on lab formatting. Her lecture style could be more enthusiastic. However, if you put in extra effort to learn and show interest and respect towards her, you will do well. Note RESPECT - she is a sharp woman and doesn't appreciate monkey business.

Having had her both as a lower level math teacher and a higher level math teacher, it is true that the higher than level of class the more likely she is to like you. In an upper level she becomes much more approachable, yet is still not very apt at explaining content, even if you go to her office hours. All of her classes require a lot of work.

Her class is very difficult and she assigns TONS of homework. Don't take this class unless you have already taken it once and are well aware of the concepts. When you go to ask for help she makes you feel really dumb for not getting it. She is also very pushy about missing class. If you miss one she will ask you about why you weren't there

Much more helpful and intelligent than people say. If you expect an "A" for effort, don't bother. She expects you to learn or at least explain why you can't. I found her very funny, a bit unapproachable. Some students are very rude to her and she has good reason to be reserved towards those whose sense of entitlement outweighs their desire to learn

She does not teach you the material, you are expected to learn it on your own and only after you turn in a homework on the topic does she show you how its done (and does a bad job at that). She is unfriendly, unhelpful, and condescending when you go to her for help. If at all possible, avoid

Worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. Our whole class even got together before the evaluations and agreed to give her horrible ratings, however because she has 10 year we were unable to do anything about it. Has no conscience whatsoever and ridicules you for not understanding. Even seems like she enjoys failing students! Please avoid!

She seems a little bit unaccessible at first but really she isn't. I am terrible at math but in her class I am getting 90's and above on exams.All you have to do is explain exactley why you are doing what you do and don't make things more complicated than they have to be. Follow the directions to a T! Not bad.

She is a ****ing moron. Everyday she contradicts herself. She gives you book work after every class on parts of the book that she has not gone over yet, then the next day you have to hand it in for a grade. Don’t take any classes with her!
