Comment:

Professor Cohen is one... No, the best Professor I took for a class. He did things like help me to arrive to class on time and he encourages his students to research topics. I will say this, He gives 2 tests for the semester, so best to study when he tells you the dates on those tests.

I was surprised to notice that there aren't many reviews on him considering he's been at the school for a long time. Professor Cohen is an amazing teacher. He brings in newspapers and ties issues from current events into the lesson. They are very helpful when studying. No Papers. Only graded on 2 tests.

He is an ok professor. He is boring and goes off topic alot. He does take attendance but only for the first few people on the list. Only 2tests throughout the course to be graded on. (No paper, participation grade, etc) So if you screw up on the tests, thats it. (the tests are quite easy though if you read the textbook)

Wonderful professor, take notes when he gives his lectures and study everything he tells you to study. He reads articles from the news paper but it helps a lot with his lectures. He's funny. No papers.

Dr. Cohen is an expert in Criminology. His experience on the field studying crime and juvenile delinquency paired with his researched knowledge on the subject (evidenced in his published works) make him an excellent lecturer. I truly enjoyed his class and the topics he covered. He was always available during office hours for further discussion.

Loved the class. Prof. Cohn is the best professor for this class. very understanding, always there to help. Lectures are very interesting. I enjoyed the class. If you come to the class, you will get an A. 1829

Professor Cohen is a very nice professor. His exams are graded on a curve. Make sure you participate in his class. He reads alot of info from the newspaper. For a morning class it was long, but he joked here and there. There are 3 tests, their from his notes and the book. I wish professor taught another class! Hes awesome. He does count attendance

AVOID! He makes you buy a textbook and then only talks about articles from the wallstreet journal and newspapers in class. Then takes random questions from the textbook that he NEVER went over in lecture. If you ask him a question he says he will get back to you and then never does, most likely due to lack of knowledge.

This is not an easy class because he doesn't know how to teach. It is impossible to understand him even with his microphone on. He mumbles and the reviews are useless. Take him if you want an average grade, As are hard to get in this class. I received a B+ and completely destroyed my GPA! BE CAREFUL! AVIOD HIM! ALSO, there is NO curve!

He asks all of his students to go out and recruit new ones for next semester,so this is my recruiting... Professor Cohen is the man. Extremelly knowledgeable and insightful. If you participate and go to class you should have no problem getting an A.

He is a nice guy but very hard to speak too. I asked for extra help and he made me feel stupid, on multiple occasions. He definitely has favorites and well i guess i was not one of them. I did well in the class but it was no help to him. He goes off topic WAYYYY TOOOO MUCHHH! ehh take the class if you want, if 50/50 whether he will like you or not.

This guy is amazing. His tests arent that simple but if you take the book out and study for a few hours and study the notes you should be fine. His class is NEVER boring !! I enjoyed waking up in the morning for him. I got an A but i studied a lot !

Very helpful professor! His class is interesting. When u attend each class I think he adds one letter grade to your final grade. For tests u have to read text and study all charts, cause many questions are about statistics. I came to every class and found it very useful. Take him!

I don't understand some of the negative comments that Professor Cohen has received! I would recommend this class to everyone! It is very hard to fail his course! He is smart, funny, and very entertaining! take notes read the text, and you are guaranteed a good grade!
