Exams were tough, groups for final project are assigned by him. Read the book, go through PPT slides. If you have a good group for the final project you will do fine, meet with them and you will do fine in the class. Quizzes are tough as well.

The textbook is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to pass this course. Be very specific when answering questions on quizzes and exams. It's a lot of writing, but it's honestly not that bad; paraphrasing key points will suffice. Extra credit is given for commenting on presentations and redoing HW. HW solutions are posted; use those to do problems on exams.

Highly advise not taking the Distant learning course. It will consume your life as its a lot of work. He also isn't very lenient at grading. You have to be on top of this class or you will end up failing.

I took the online class and as long you you do your work and hand it in on time you should get a good grade. These comments are not realistic. He treats you like an adult and just tells it how it is. He tells you that if you are not there to do work do not take the class. The ID quizes are somewhat difficult but once you do 2 you no what he wants.

Please my fellow students, do yourself a favor and don't take DL class with Rapp. He gives lot of work like his course is the only one you taking in the semester. He does grade fair and don't like helping students. I don't know how his face to face class is like but DL is awful. He doesn't give back grades for assignment until the end of the semest

Don't ever take DL class with this Professor, he is not human being and doesn't have any feelings. He is like a machine programed to follow a manual and that is it, he just know the manual. He is not a reasonable person at all. If you send a late assigment late for one day is the same as do nothing, he doesn't consider anything.

worst teacher ever.do yourself a favor and stay away from him. you'll bust your ass and do a lot of work for nothing. he is not fair at all. he also not clear with his assignments. he doesn't like helping students. he came from Yale or something and he thinks himself smarter than everybody else. just stay away from his class
