One of the best profs in the biology department. He really does care about his students, has a clear grading criteria. Just do the study questions and read the textbook and you can get 90%+ in the course. He's passionate about this field and this shows in his lectures.

Only pulls out figure and tables from the textbook. He tells you that the question from the textbook is going to be on the midterm and final .. the problem is that there's like a 100 questions you have to memorize going in an exam. He would pick the easy one that doen't require alot of marking effort but looks for miniscule details in them.

Really don't need to go to class. He might seem condescending at times but its just his way of ensuring we get the picture. You could basically get 100% in the course if you do every single question in the back of the textbook. My friends and I all each did 2 chapters of questions and combined the answers in a google doc- all did really well

Really, really don't like him. Made us buy his expensive book. Obviously very smart and knowledgable, but he is not very nice to students, and his midterms are marked hard. One of my least favourite profs.

After taking bio 342 I was very excited about 432, especially knowing the author of the textbook will be teaching us. When I finally met him...all I can say is, he is a big disappointment to me. He doesn't give you lecture notes. In class, he'll basically show you figures & tables from the textbook, then talk about them. Don't like his attitude.

Interesting material and well written text, but lectures aren't really worth going to. They are boring and don't give you any different info than the text. Tough midterm, only 5 or 6 heavily weighted questions, and markers were very harsh. B. Glick was a condescending jerk when I spoke with him about my midterm.

Dr. Glick is one of the most approachable profs despite the fact that he is 'chair' of biology. the material is interesting in the begining but gets boring after the midterm. there is an incredible amount of memorizing for this course and you will definitely feel overwhelmed.

he is very detail oriented and his questions at the end of the chapters are extreamly useful. The only downside is he is useless at answering questions, he once compared one REN digestion to the moon landing ..not too useful if u ask me....

Prof. Glick is fine overall but his teaching style sucks. Its way too stressful studying from just the notes you take off what he says, its hard to know whats important enough to write down and whats not. It would help if he'd use the board atleast once.
