Comment:

Professor Klass is an elderly man, who is very forgetful. I took his history 12 class, he tells you the topics before hand of which he expects a two page essay paper each (10pages) for 5 out of the 15+ topics. I didn't learn much in class as it is really hard for him to stay on tract. I didn't use the book either, just looked the topics up online

Comment:

Professor Klass is a very nice person,he is very polite. Yes, he is a little old to be teaching, so if you are going to disrepect him and make fun of him, don't bother to take his class. He doesn't deserve that. He teaches very little because he repeats his lectures over and over again, so just read the book and learn about the topics he mention.

This was by far the best history class I have ever taken. Dr. Klass is perhaps the best history instructor I've ever had. He knows more about history than any other teacher I've had, and my interest grew. My favorite part about this class was that it was HARD and that's why I learned so much. I would recommend Dr. Klass without hesitation.

Retired professor that went back to work. Says the same thing over and over again. Takes 20 minutes to pass out exams which are all essay. He wrote on the board with permanent marker...ooooppppss!He makes mistakes on grades, beware! Keep all your exam books.

The class was boring because he is OLD. if you read the book,take notes and make small little cheat sheets, you might get an A or B. you can actually leave class in the middle of a test to go to bathroom.if you want to learn history go else where.

You will fail this course with relative ease if you take him! Trust me! Do not dare to take this Professor, go to any other college but do not take it with him. I actually ended up getting a "C" but that is only because I had to petition to the admissions office of his bad teaching habits and they manually had to change the grade! He is the worst!

Take his class if you want to get succeed in history. Super helpful Professor who get's right to the point and makes the class simple. He is great at what he does and loves to talk to his students. I did not think that he was boring but rather just made the class a real history class where we would literally have discussions daily. GREAT @ Thanks

I didn't show up for 3 weeks and came back to the same subject we left off with. If you miss the second class you will not have to be in an assigned seat. I basically used my phone to learn about history rather than listen to his worthless lectures. He loves Jay leno and has a killer combover which helped get me through the semester Don't take.

Unfortunately the worst class I've taken at Pierce. Without exaggerating, his lectures rambled and carried on to other subjects. I seriously thought I was in the wrong class for 2 weeks because there was no material covered. Completely and utterly useless, so sad because history is my favorite subject by far. On the plus side, he is a nice guy.

Very Very BORING class - he usually makes NO sense whatsoever and tests often stray from the subjects taught/talked about in class. Videos give the most helpful info for the test. Classes always go til the end - he doesn't let you out early which sucks. Dont take him unless you want to snooze

he is a very boring instructor. First day you have assign seats that takes him about 20 minutes for roll call. Other half of the hour is watching boring video that doesn't help you at all. Just read the book since the test is essay formatted and spelling doesn't count.

Wonderful teacher. Essay exams. Explained exactly what the test would cover. I took this class while I was in high school. It was not difficult and you learned a lot of material. I highly recommend Dr. Klass.
