This class was hard to attend , Wills is a funny guy but his lectures are incoherent and hard to follow along to his thought process, his assignment instructions were not detailed at all

I would not recommend taking humanitys 1001 unless you have a specific interest in violenece because thats all that is discussed. There was only two take home assignments and he is a fairly easy grader , class attendance is not mandatory

I was looking forward to Humanities and Bernie Wills exceeded my expectations with his delicious lectures, teaching style, and kaleidoscopic study selections. Prepare to be interested in class. The man speaks gems, so take good notes. He's a great dude, and an awesome guy to be taught a class like this or Philosophy, etc. course from. He's the MAN!

I loved Dr. Wills. He is very intellectual. You have to go to all the classes to keep up. He wonders in cirles but that is what theology is about isn't it? Pondering the unanswered questions of millenia? He is sometimes late but aren't we too? He gets his TAs to mark papers which is someitmes bad but if you pay attention you won't have to worry!

He is one of the best profs I've ever had! He constantly went over the concepts that would have been difficult to understand otherwise, but with different examples every time. His lectures are easy going and you can take notes at your own pace. He goes over the material so well and in depth, the tests seem like common knowledge. Amazing prof!

Dr.Wills is an amazing prof!Very witty, and the philosophy course i did only had 2 papers and a take-home final exam (paper)! He is easy to understand if you don't daydream because the topics are a bit intense and they need focus to understand.Take notes on everything he says, and it can be very helpful because he doesn't provide many (if any) notes

Professor Wills is a very intellectual and interesting man. His lectures are extremely roundabout (you will hear him go over the same concept MANY times), and his thoughts are not very linear. However, he is concerned for his students and will go out of his way to help you if you go to his office to ask questions.

Professor Wills is the best professor I have at MUN. He is so very interesting and makes you excited to come back to his next class. He does not lecture in a conventional way, it is more like a conversation, which I find creates a comfortable vibe in the room. Please ignore all of these ridiculous comments and see for yourself, he is the best!!!!!!

This teacher could quite possibly be the most confused man I have ever met in my life. His lectures are absolutely everywhere and never ending. Although the classes were hard to pay attention in, I found he marked quite easily on tests.

He seems like an ok guy, but he can talk about one thing for an hour, and at the end you still have no clue what he means. Needs to find a way to make his classes more interesting and comprehensive. Slow getting tests back, and his TA marks REALLY hard!

Dr. Wills is an awesome guy! Sure he's a little scattered when it comes to notes and writing on the board, but he knows his material WELL!!! If you cannot take your own notes, don't take this prof, but he's fun to listen to, you'll always get a kick outta this guy.

Bernard is an ok guy. He tells what can be expected for tests and exams. Easy marker himself and does not expect too much...the TA sucks at marking though...hard guy!!!! Bernard himself is ok but boring!!!

I think Dr. Wills is a good prof. At first, I must admit, he seems a bit sketchy but u just have to give the man a chance. He is really intelligent and once you get the hang of the way he teaches u'll enjoy his courses and do well. Basically, all u have to do is go to class and take notes to do good. Don't even bother with the text book, trust me!

I appreciate the knowledge of Dr. Wills. I suggest people that rate Dr. Wills poorly to show up for class, maybe that will help you apprecaite this professor. I find him a very easy to understand and a very clear speaker. He is a friendly person to pose questions to and approach.

Doesn't look over the marks his TAs hand out and even if he doesn't agree with them he will not do anything about it(even when he says you deserve a higher mark). No matter how much you go to him for help your mark will not change (even after seeing your final draft)because he doesn't correct the work. Worst experiences i've ever had with a prof.
