i had to drop ctqr the first time because i was failing so badly and then took it with dr. costner and got a B. she's very willing to help and will work with your schedule to meet with you. taking her was the best thing i did.

I would have never made it through CTQR without her! I failed the class the first time around but I came out with a C with Dr. Costner. The class isn't easy but she explains things in a way that makes it easy. Don't miss too many days of class though...she gives daily quizzes.

Class is challenging but meant to be. It's different to know how to do something and know how to explain something. Dr. Costner is funny, and VERY helpful. If you can't pass her class you shouldn't be teaching... that's the point.

Oh where do I start... Dr. C is a VERY hard teacher and this is a VERY difficult and stressful class, esp if you are not a math person. However, I have learned more from Dr. C than I have from any other professor. I suggest doing ALL of the suggested problems and do not hesitate to ask her for help in/out of class. I absolutely loved this class...It was way easier for me to understand Dr. Costner and the matereial than it was for me in 291...I don't even like geometry yet she kept me interested during class. She uses a lot of examples and group assignments. She's available outside of class and will do anything she can to help you! Def take her!

Great teacher with lots of examples- if you do not understand one example, she will gladly give another and available for help. Study the definitions like CRAZY and do the extra study questions posted on webct- that will really help. Great teacher!

Costner is so cool. She sends out weekly emails to remind us of things we can be working on. She is constantly reminding us to come see her for extra help. She makes class interesting, and this is one of my favorite classes this semester and overall.
