Go to office hours with any questions. Her one-on-one is tops. Lectures are good. She has DRY humor that takes some adjusting, then she's hilarious. Expects you to do homework on material BEFORE she teaches it. Yuck. Some worksheets she won't cover, but may be on exams. Test questions were tricky and not very representative of overall knowledge.

Beth is a fantastic professor; possibly even over qualified for her position. She is very credible. You'll learn and laugh in class! If I could take her for the rest of my classes I would. Tests aren't exactly easy but they truly test your knowledge. Attend class and pay attention and you will learn a lot. She's fun and she really knows her stuff.

You have to be able to deal with her sarcasm. That's her sense of humor. She can be very detailed oriented, which makes the test a bit more challenging. Before each tests she holds study sessions, which consist of answering any questions students have. During study sessions she'll clearly outline every essay question if you ask.

Beth is hilarious and makes lectures interesting. I found some of the content challenging, but she was there to help me and explain it multiple times until I understood it. The tests are a bit difficult, this is a class you have to study for. Expect some essay questions. Come to class, and get participation and easy quiz and group question points.

I had her for Unity of Life. She was a great teach. She loves what she does and is excited about teaching. That is what I love in professors. It makes me excited to learn. Her test can be challenging, but if you study and know the information on the reviews and go to exam reviews, you will be fine for tests. She is willing to help too.

She is a really good professor to take for The Unity of Life. Just take good notes and read them over and over before tests! Tests can be difficult sometimes because she includes so many essays, but I recommend her. She does take FOREVER to hand back papers/tests though.

Very enthaustic hard professor but if you put in the effort and work you wil do well. Is always there to help you. Need to stay on top of things, don't be late with anything she won't accept it. She strongly believes you are in charge of how you want to do. Gives tons of homework. Overall, great but tough teacher. Stay on top and you'll succeed.

For my first biology class on campus, I'm glad I had her. Her teaching style was definitely helpful with the transition from high school to college. Made sure you were understanding the material but still made you accountable. I would take her again for another class if the opportunity arises.

My least favorite teacher so far. She tries to help but talks in circles so its hard to understand the material. Tests are ok but studying is definately needed. It's easy to get lost in her lectures. She loses her train of thought often which gets really frustrating. I would avoid if possible.

Had this teacher for evolution and it was great! Shes very helpful and cares a lot about her students. I broke my scapula the weekend before finals and she allowed me to take the exam orally as I am right handed and that side was non functional. Would defintely recommend!
