Dr. Nelson is an amazing professor. I'm so sad she's retiring. Her tests weren't easy to get used to, but she's so smart, so approachable, and really loves what she does.

Go to class and take good notes. The essay exams for discussion are really easy, you get the essays ahead of time so make sure you go over them and have them pre-written, they are open book/note essay exams so you can just write straight from your pre-written one onto her paper. The multiple choice exams are kind of hard though.

Very helpful to students. Go to class and you should have no problem getting an A or B. You have to write some papers but they can bring up your tests grades. Likes essay questions. Take home options for some tests - Students like those. Ask if you need help or extra credit!
