Beth is such an amazing woman. She makes lab enjoyable and really goes above and beyond to make sure students understand the material. She really loves taking students off campus for field trips and also takes a very hands on approach.

I took Bio6, MarineBio and AnimalDiv with Beth. She's great--knowledgeable and an interesting lecturer with loads of personality who cares deeply about students and her field. She incorporates lots of hands on experiences, thoughtfulness and writing. I see her as a scientist with a humanities approach. It's no surprise she's well loved by students.

SOOOO hilarious!! I love this woman! Best lecturer I've had, hands down! However, tests were long and tricky but got you thinking. Best memory-zoo field trip :)

Beth is loads of fun. Her classes never really use the book, it all comes from her amazing memory. Her tests can be challenging- it takes a while to get used to the format. She makes learning very very fun. She has her own unique style and energy which make her a delight to study from.

I took Life Science, and Horvath is such a fun lady to take this class with! I'm not a science person but she made the class interesting, fun, and understandable. Attendence isn't neccessary, tests are do-able if you study, and you will learn a lot!
