I really enjoyed Dr. Ingle's class. You could tell that she really cared about history. There were a lot of papers (5-8, depending on how you completed your primary sources) but she gave you until the end of the semester to complete them and she is a really easy grader. I would recommend Dr. Ingle's history class to anyone who needs a HST credit.

Prof Ingle is such a sweet woman. She is so genuine and loves her job and her students. She is so passionate in her lectures. She lectures more like a story versus a typical lecture based course. I loved her, and would highly recommend her!

Beth is honestly my all time favorite professor on campus, she is the sweetest and most caring person I've ever met and she loves all of her students like family. Better yet she makes history actually fun and interesting. Every lecture is full of fun and I end up filling about 3-4 pages of notes by the end of class. I couldn't recommend her enough!

I am a history major. I have taken classes of all levels at RVC and NIU. Beth Ingle is literally the best professor I have had. If I could take her class again but not have to do all the hard work(papers) I would. I thoroughly enjoyed lectures. More guys should take the women's history class; it isn't bad at all!

The most approachable and accommodating professor that you'll ever cross paths with. She genuinely cares about her students and works with them the most that a professor could. She's amazing at teaching and if you found history boring before her class she will give you a whole new perspective. I would recommend her and I have recommended her.

Professor Ingle is an absolutely incredible educator. As long as you show up to class, take notes, and show at least some interest in the topics there is no way you won't get an A. Ingle is so approachable and genuinely just wants her students to be engaged and eager to learn.

Could not recommend Professor Ingle enough! She is the most invested and caring professor with a passion for history. Her lectures are very in depth as well as funny and engaging. You write 3 book reviews and 1 research paper and you have until the final to turn them in. Not hard assignments, but if you're a procrastinator you might struggle.

Probably my favorite professor I've taken at RVC, took her for 182 and 183. Really cares about the information she teaches and the careers of her students. Gives feedback if you ask for it and help on figuring out assignments like the research paper. Be prepared for note taking everyday since the mid term/final are all terms from in class notes.

This teacher was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. She's enthusiastic and her lectures are very informative and weren't boring. The student that implied that they were was mistaken. I don't need another humanities class, but I'm seriously considering taking another history class with Beth Ingle. She's the best!

Best prof at RVC. Genuinely cares about students. Lectures are interesting if you like history. I always recommend her if you need a history class. 8 pg research paper due end of semester. 2-3 book reviews. midterm&Final. The Research paper is worst part but she leaves the subject up to you. Start it early!

Seriously the most boring teacher and class I have ever dealt with. All of the material taught is completely irrelevant to what matters in today's day and age. This teacher loves the Renaissance and Philosophy and is extremely annoying in lecture. Way too biased and emotional about lectures. Learned no history in this course whatsoever. STAY AWAY.

Prof. Ingle is one of the best professors at RVC. She is incredibly conscientious and passionate about the subject matter. I have taken two of her classes, and would take more if I had the chance. Her lectures are like listening to someone tell a story, and she gives you an in-depth view of whatever time period you are studying. Incredible!

I absolutely LOVED her! She made learning about Women's History in The United States interesting and engaging! I would take this class over again if I could. The work load is very manageable. All you have to do is two book reports, one final research paper, a midterm, and final all due at the end of the semester. I highly recommend her!
