She is the most wonderful, kind, caring person you will ever meet. She makes you so excited to be a teacher and makes all of her students feel accepted and appreciated. She understands that teaching is not a popular profession but gets you so pumped to be a teacher. She is incredible and I love her dearly. Pitt State is lucky to have her.

Dr. Samuels is a really nice lady and definitely made me want to be a teacher. With that being said, I felt like Explorations class was way too easy and didn't have a lot of substance. Be prepared to discuss random topics within your group, write reflection papers that receive random grades, and that's it. Pretty good teacher- weird, tedious class

This woman is hands down the best professor at PSU. You'll learn so much from her. She'll get you excited about teaching. There is 33 hours required outside of class to observe. No books. Group projects. No in class assignments. Papers because it's mandatory WL. You'll have a mock interview but it isn't bad! She's so helpful!!

"Who wants to be a teacher?!!" Because of Mrs. Samuels, I want to be a teacher! She is the BEST teacher I have ever and I really enjoyed her class and it is a privelage to know her. She is so helpful and is always so supportive of everybody! I would recommend her to ANYBODY!!!
