Sometimes she can come off a little icy.. def a devil wears prada kind of vibe but she cares for her students and ultimatly if you cant take some sterness you shouldnt be in theater.

Very good teacher, stay out of her way when shes directing a production, as she can get alittle stressed, but otherwise shes got a great sense of humor and fosters and encourages everyone's interest in costuming, whether it is for professional goals or just for fun.

I am still learning from Beth...the sound of summer hissing in 1978; from Paul McCartney to ELO to America. From radio to art to movie preservation. I've taken her learnings with me. A wonderful person that I shall never forget. With age comes wisdom. Respect her. Thank you BAM.

Beth is an excellent teacher but you have to be prepared for the workload. As far as Costume History goes it is A LOT OF INOFRMATION AND TERMS. But if you study you will be fine. Her review sheets are helpful too.
