Great Professor. A very kind woman who is always there to help. I took her online winter course and I really learned a lot inspite of it being an online course. She gets back to your questions and emails very quickly. Not too much of a heavy work load. I would reccomend taking her online or in class.!!

I took Professor Treadway twice, after taking her the first time I had a new appreciation for art. She is very knowledgeable in the field. Took her Winter Intercession online course the second time around, work load is manageable - do your discussion board posts and final paper and you'll do fine.

Online Course: Easy class, very interesting. Post every week and you'll do fine. One paper during the class (3-5pgs on a trip to the MoMA). Final is kind of long, so start it early (9pgs total comprising of 3 seperate essays). Take this class.

It was a wonderful and educational class. The lecture notes are extremely valuable, and combined with the reading assignments make the class very easy to follow. If you want to know about modern art, take this class! (Great tool for business majors to use during dinner meetings!)

Very nice professor. Lecture notes were great and extremely helpful. The material is really interesting and fun to learn about. I really did enjoy taking this class. I felt like I learned a lot. I recommend taking Treadway with this class. I took the online section. The workload was very reasonable. Everything is very clear.

I came into the class as a sceptic. Wasn't a big fan of modern art, nor did I understand its value. Well, my view of modern art as a whole has changed tremedously. I may not agree with some of the art, but at least I know where its ideas come from and its true meaning. Very insightful and interesting lessons. Eye-opening to say the least.

I wouldn't give her the medal for the professor with the most compelling lectures, but she does grade fairly and gives a positive attitude towards the students. She was very nice to me throughout the semester and allowed me to do rewrites. Highly recommended for any art class.

Raises her eyebrows all the time. I fell asleep in class all the time because her voice was so monotone and the lights would be off to show slides. She's very passionate and knowledgeable, but it's still hard to stay awake.
