Best teacher/professor I've ever had. She's such a sweetheart, and actually cares about all of her students. Extremely intelligent and hardworking, take as many classes as you can with her. Loved every minute of her classes, and when I needed to see her outside of class,she always made time for me. A wonderful soul.

I really miss Happy Writing Tuesdays and Thursdays. Dr. Hicok gives good constructive criticism, but the TA was usually more helpful than she was. The class in general was fun, and the essays weren't as hard as I had expected.

I love Dr. Hicok! She always gave me awesome feedback and I found her to be really helpful. She did play favorites. Just mention classic literature and anything slightly intelligent and she will love you. She also likes people who think for themselves.
