This was an okay class. You really need the lab at the same time, otherwise neither will make sense. She obviously knows her stuff, but sometime isn't the greatest at explaining it. My main problem was lots and lots of memorization and some tough test questions. I learned a lot though. She's the kind of teacher you respect more than you like.

I was fascinated every day I was in class. I learned SO much.. I definitely walked away a much more educated person. Take good notes and study and you will be fine. She truly loves what she does and is a wonderful teacher.

OK.. If you are taking anthro 185 take the lab at the same time! I took the class 1st then the lab- the material would have made so much more sense if I had taken the lab w/lecture! She's really laid back in the lab. I got a C in the class, and an A in the lab- I enjoyed the lab way more than the class.

lots of memorization, she giv es plenty of material to help with all quizes and tests. I barely used the text book, it would help to start study groups. Also gives an extra credit choice one worth 40points and one 20points. easy A if you do all the work plus extra credit.

I loved Kunzler-Yett.. she is a really good teacher if you know what's going on in the class. You can't expect to pass her class without putting any effort. it's not stressful studying.. just know what she tests/quizzes you on and it will be a breeze. "BE A GOOD STUDENT AND SHE'LL BE A GREAT TEACHER"

Shes a nice teacher But-Do not take her. Shes very hard and u must show up everyday and take lots of notes. The test are hard & so are the quizzes. The only thing that got me bye was the Extra Credit Zoo. So if u are going to take it do the Extra Credit! Im not into the Anth 185 & i never was. But i survived barely!

Kunzler-Yett is a very nie teacher. very confusing and boring class but what i recomend is DO THE EXTRA CREDIT ZOO PROJECT because it is really useful in helping with your grade. I failed almost every test but with the 50 pt extra cred i ended up with a B. Be ready in class because she singles everyone out with qeustions about the previous notes.

this class is hard!! do not take this class if you dont like reading many notes, and studying. you have to remembeer alot of different things, i had her for the lab too and you have to remember SOO MANY bones and everythign this class was very ahrd for me and i struggled and before the class i was highly interested...take it with a different teache

I love this class. Although it's all lecture, learning about evolution is very intriguing. Kunzler-Yett is a good professor to learn from. This is one of those classes you CAN'T miss otherwise you'll miss like 3-4 pages of notes. Sometimes she made people feel stupid for asking a question which I didn't like. Challenging but recommended!

interesting class. turned into my favorite class last semester. Make sure you stay on top of the notes. Every class she will randomly put students on the spot and ask them questions from the prior class. its effective though because you are forced to understand the material. If you want an easy A or B then don't take the class.

i really enjoyed her class. she is a very bright lady and you can learn a lot from her. it is not an easy class, but i learned a lot. her accent is kind of difficult to understand, but i got used to it after the first day.

If you do not want to learn about Anthropology and just want to get an easy A then don't take her. She expects you to know the material which is a good thing. She really cares about her work and she knows a lot about it. It will be a benefit to you if you take her. You will actually learn something about the subject and possibly about yourself.

amazing teacher. actually was in the job field she is teaching. very smart, funny, straightforward, and such organized notes which helps ALOT. the labs were a lot of fun and really interesting. one of the best classes ive had at occ. i recommend her to anyone taking this class. if you do take her take in as much as you can.

I don't know why everyone is saying she is so hard to understand. She does not have that much of an accent. It is pretty much a class on primates and evolution. Take the lab with the lecture. The tests are pretty hard. If you want to get an A, you have to do more than memorize, you have to understand the concepts. TAKE NOTES AND STUDY THEM!!!
