I had this course 1 year ago, but i decided to write some lines now to help people who are considering which professor they should take for their ACCT1A. She is the best ACCT prof at Mission. I love how she gave feedback and instruction in Canvas. She replied student' questions quite quickly and her answers were really clear. Take her class!

Comment:

If you're taking this class online be prepared to spend hours just doing the homework alone which are harder than the tests. She is very responsive to questions, she's up late! 13 homework assignments per chapter, 11 chapter tests (drops lowest 2), 2 midterms, 1 final and discussion boards. I recommend making a friend in the class to study with.

I took this online, so reading is best source of learning. Hw are long, not very helpful for the tests. Google if you are stuck. Final in person, very hard, all multiple choice. The oracle program is where she takes her questions from, review those in preparation for the final. Overall, everything was organized, hw is alot of points.

Great experience! Online Discussions board was very helpful along with MyAccountingLab access. To do well, take full advantage of the resources the site has. I mean, you paid for it after all! Prof. Christopher was always helpful and communicative throughout the course. I wish all online classes ran this way.

Professor Christopher is a great teacher. Her lectures are very clear and interesting. This is not an easy class, so make sure you come to class everyday for the lecture, and do all the homework, which really helps. She wil give you 3 midterms, a final and a project. Overall, it's not a hard class. I got an A in the class.

Professor Christopher is a very caring teacher. She is very smart and her online class was very enjoyable. Homework is worth a lot so it is pretty tough to fail the class if you do all the hw. Two midterms one final and one project is what the class consisted of. I got a B in the class.

I took both Acct 1A in Spring 2012 & 1B in Fall 2013. I did well in both. There's a lot of reading and homework, however as long as you complete your work and study, you will do well in the quizzes and exams. Professor Christopher is very helpful and attentative with her students. Her style of teaching will assist you in getting your CPA

Mission College is very fortunate to have Professor Christopher on their faculty. She is the best accounting professor in the department. She displays enormous energy, enthusiam and devotion to making her accounting class the best leaning experience possible. I wish we could clone her and have her teach intermediate accounting

Prof Christopher is a good quality faculty. Her exams are extremely hard. Not an easy A but not impossible to get A if you are taking only one course. She is extremely helpful and a very humble person. She is good for students who are getting ready for CPA exam. If Acct is your major take her class. Her project for Acct 1 A and 1B are interesting.

Extremely hard. Online homework assignments are tedious. Her exams are very hard. She is good and helpful if you have any kind of problem. She is extremely knowledgeable and good for CPA students. Professor Christopher is great. Took her online class and was surprised how easy and comprehensible everything was on the internet. Definitely need to put time and effort in the homework and tests. I also took her Acct1B class cause I liked 1A but 1B is a lot harder so be prepared but I loved the class and the teacher.

Betty is the best online teacher I have EVER had. She is encouraging, always responsive, and fair. Do not fall behind, and you will do well. I have taken many online courses, and Betty is by FAR the best instructor. The only way you will not do well is if you do not take advantage of all the resources she offers. Get involved in the discussions!

This is my first online class and it was such a pleasant experience. She's extrememly nice and helpful. She gives you points for asking questions on the discussion board too! To ace this test all you need to do is read the textbook, do the homework, chapter tests, practice midterms/exam. Plenty of extra credits. I love this class!
