I've been very awful in math but her dedication to help everyone to pass is amazing. She'll always wait after class to help people like me who are having a hard time on their homework! I'd definitely take her over and again.

Professor Coleman is an amazing person! Every time after class she would stay late with my friend and I to help us with our homework. Every time I needed help she worked with me until I understood. If you show up, study and do the work, you will do well. I would definitely take her again!!

I took this class as early 8. She is very helpful and the way the class is broken up is unique with computer, lecture, small group, lecture. Maybe she doesn't spoon feed you in lecture but if you're an adult and do the homework you will pass with an A. I'd take her again in a heartbeat and really feel the other reviews are comically negative.

Point blank she is a bad teacher. If you are reading this review and debating if you should take her I would suggest against it. OCCC needs to reevaluate her being a teacher. Nothing against her as a person but as someone who has a role to TEACH students she is doing an awful job. I have never given a bad review but I made it a point to warn others

She never responds back to emails and when you ask for help she just confuses you more because the way she teaches is too hard too understand. PLEASE do not take professor Coleman for math class. Worst teacher I've ever had!

She is very confusing and hard to understand. I think she should try teaching something other than math. It seems easy to her so she just flies through it and expects you to get it. Her study guide for the tests are completely different than what's on the test. I Wish I would have gotten a different teacher.

I think Professor Coleman is very dull. Class was difficult to focus in although the material is easy enough. If you got the online text, pretty much all you need. The homework is very easy and is online. Second part of tests always got me. First part was a breeze. Practice tests very similar to the actual test.

Mrs. Coleman is a very good teacher. She is willing to help you in class and outside the classroom. She goes through multiple examples of each kind of problem. You dont need a book because there is a book online on MyMathLab which is where you will have to do your homework. She isnt to harsh about attendance but she highly recommends you to attend.

Frustrated easily with questions, not able to be reached outside of class, didn't allow the use of any notes on tests or calculators. Advice: take the tests in the testing center (you can use some notes and calculator and have more time), turn in all homework and try to find out what your grade is before the end of the semester. Hard class!

let me start by saying I am TERRIBLE at math. I also get test anxiety. I took Mrs Coleman cpm 3 -4 8 week courses and maintained a "B" in both cpm 3-4. Mrs Coleman is extremely helpful. She explains everything at a slow even pace and is very clear and always makes sure her students understand everything before moving on to the next lesson. I couldn't have passed math without her. She is awesome
