Betty is amazing. I had her for both freshman and sophomore english. While the class is really geared toward making sure you actually kind of know how to write, she still makes it fun. Expect to write papers. Do your work. Show up. She's a bit scatterbrained, but in the best way. Easy A if you put in 75% effort.

She is a wonderful teacher and incredibly understanding. She gets off topic occasionally but her stories are always entertaining. You are required to do a lot of writing and will have peer edits almost every class. This is a great class and I would highly recommend her as a professor.

Loved Mrs. Conway. Super helpful and good about individualizing the course to meet the classes needs. Often let out early after work was done. I learned a lot and am a much stronger writer. Super nice and friendly!

I learned a lot in this class. There is a lot of work and papers but its an English class, you are going to have to write. The work, outlines, edits, assignments that she provides prior to writing papers is really helpful. If you do the work, you will earn the grade!

I switched to Conway's section after reading her RMP reviews and I was not disappointed! She covers a lot of current issues and is very willing to help students do their best. Some serious work is required but class time is productive and her grading is fair. Take her class if possible!

Professor Conway is such a nice and caring woman. She is ALWAYS willing to help if you are confused or behind in her class. She was a great writing professor and you can tell she really enjoys teaching the subject. Class was sometimes hard to sit through at 8 am but I ended up getting a B.

If you have never enjoyed writing this class will make it more interesting. There are journal entries throughout the semester and 5 papers to turn in for your portfolio!!! Advice: Keep EVERY PIECE OF PAPER she gives you b/c you will have to turn it in at the end of the semester! Attendance= Grade- Mrs. Conway is very helpful!!!

Professor Conways is an excellent teacher and is very helpful. There are 7 essays the last and first being your final! Enjoys helping her students and always willing to give feedback. Grades on the harder side but even if you are a poor writer she will always help you out. If your schedule allows it take this teacher!!!!!
