As a person and teacher, I didn't like him. He never actually teaches you anything because he tries to use to socratic method in an online class. He is computer illiterate yet teaches online classes at ECU. NEVER EVER TAKE HIM ONLINE!!!

i took him for 1100(B) and im taking him now for 1200..i would suggest memeolo but only if your willing to actually do work..JOURNAL ENTRIES are very important..he can sometimes be an ass but overall a good professor..

Mr. Memolo is nice but hes hardcore. Papers are tough compared to other teachers requirements. Allowed 6 absences the rest are a point off your final grade. Need to go to class to understand and pass. I thought he was pretty hard

Very good teacher if you can think for yourself. While you should start on the papers right away, the requirements are not very clear until it gets closer to the due date. I guarantee that the papers he makes you write are something you will never do again, but are very easy. He even gives extra credit and a grade just for going to his office.

Decent teacher. Be sure you read anything he assigns for homework! 99% chance of a quiz the next day. Doesn't ask for much. Keep up to date with simple journal entries for an easy grade. Tests are easy if you just go to class and pay a little bit of attention. If you're interested in actually learning something, he's not the right teacher.

Mr. Memolo is a truly great teacher and everyone should take him at least once. His assignments are difficult but extremely fair. He expects your best work and really works with you to accomplish this. There is plenty of time to get all your assignments done and he treats everyone with the upmost respect.

Very helpful. Gives quizes after reading assignments so make sure to read. You will have to do like 3 major papers. Oh yeah and he gets a little aggitated when the class can't answer his questions, but overall a great instructor.

Mr Memolo is great. You have weeks to do papers. If you do not understand something; he is glad to meet with you after class or at his office. I just did pass Eng 1100 but I got an A in Mr Memolo's class. Homework consist of reading 4 to 5 page stories. All the questions he ask in class retain to the stories.

If you are signed up for this man's class, I would change it if I were you. He asigns papers that are due the day students get back from spring break' gives loads of homework over the weekend' and if the class doesn't respond to anything he asks he will get very pissed off. To me this is the worst english teacher anybody could get at ECU!
