You will get to know her granddaughter personaly. Believe me. She's writing a book that she talks about ever class and often goes off topic. Give's GREAT female advice... aka "don't join the military or have work when you have babies".

Mrs. Lowry is certainly not a professor -- she is more interested in taking prayer requests than teaching the subject. She will spend, nearly every class, more than half the allotted class time in prayer. I felt cheated that I never was taught dev psych. She was mean and rude to several students. Don't take her. It's a waste of your money.

Mrs. Lowry is a great Christian lady and a great example of a godly woman. She is helpful in her teaching and to all those who commented negatively, probably didn't do well in your other courses either. Sad for you, because one day when you are a parent, I bet her comments will come back to haunt you and wish you had paid better attention to her!

She is very sweet and cares about all her students. She knows the material and ALWAYS has a family story as evidence. Parenting class, def. The 3 hours class is long, but it was never boring. The "Debates" were confusing, but not horrible. The paper was VERY easy. I read the book the night before and still got a 100. Take her if you can...AMAZING.
