extremely opinionated. if you don't agree with her, she will deduct points. seems like a nice lady but is extremely harsh and will fail you for no reason. when asking questions, she's extremely insulting so watch out!

She does everything powerpoint. No need to go to class unless you want the 20 point writing assignments she gives, but those are usually after the exams. She covers a ton of material for one exam and her question style is very wordy not a direct question. Had trouble figuring out what she was exactly asking sometimes.

Right now im taking her Bio health and disease class and it is fairly easy.Her tests come strictly from what she posts on pilot so you really wont need the textbook.She does do 2 in class writings which are worth 10 points but they are really easy opinion questions just make sure to be in class to get these extra points

Tests come strictly off of her powerpoints in 111. The book is absolutely not necessary although it would be a good idea to purchase it since the same one is required for 112 and 115. Very straightforward in her presentations. Not terribly friendly in person but it hardly matters as the class is super easy.

its a good idea to go to class because there are clicker questions that will go toward participation. also, we had 3 writings worth 10 pts each and if you want an A you need to do them bc not many points. overall she is pretty straightforward and kindhearted.

Mrs. Schieltz is a great person. She is very helpful and will answer any question. Her recitations for lab were pretty cool if you were an honors student. If you went to class and did the clicker questions and did reasonably well on the tests you will get an A. So don't worry if you get a B on a test. She also gave an extra 11 points extra credit!

Bev is really nice and her class is very easy especially if you have any basic anatomy classes before. She basically just reads the power point but she will tell you whether something is important to know for the test or not so going to class is a good idea. Bev is kind of a boring professor but I would prefer that over a difficult one.

She's an alright teacher, reads right off the slides and doesn't explain it any more than that. Her slides can be scattered and if you've never had this level of biology it can be hard to understand. Exams can be difficult only 50 questions over 3-5 chapters but questions are still very detailed. She's an okay teacher but I didn't like the class.

If you're going to consider large lecture classes, I would suggest paying attention to adviser than to a teacher who will simply be too busy anyway. All in all, I was satisfied. What more can you ask for?

The lectures are dry and boring and Mrs. Schieltz has a tendency to pontificate. The first and third tests are pretty easy. The second test required a fair amount of study time to do well. Make sure to do well on the lab practical and you should have no problem getting an A. Overall this class was not so bad. Take Miller for 112!

easy class, i did the minimum and still got a B. lecture was so boring. she reads directly off of the slides and there is no variation. i felt going to class was pointless. lab was great though. easy and fun. bev is a wonderful lady and so funny, but seriously, i was on facebook or sleeping every lecture.

She was pretty easy. The one thing that really pissed me off is that there were 2 in classs writings and I was present for both which would have given me an A. She was basically like these are the points you have, I don't care and this is your grade. Would have given me a perfect 4.0 for the quarter. She keeps the writings, so I have no proof.

She is very nice and helpful. Her notes are very clear and easy to understand. She will provide the class notes online. If you study the notes you'll get very good grades. She also has an assistant helping understand the subject better and providing review sheets & practice exam. She also gives extra credit which is very nice and helpful.

Overall she is a pretty good teacher.Bio of disease could not be that interesting but she made us learn what was important.The test were not too difficult if you go to class(which you have to so you can get the notes and do the two easy in class assinments that you get full credit for just for doing them)I would recommend her.The extra credit helps
