Dr. Gebler is amazing. He is very knowledgeable. There are 4 tests, with extra credits, can use cheat sheets. If you pay attention enough you will notice each of the question will follow the order on the list for cheat sheet. the best way to study is going to the lecture, print out the list of cheat sheet when he posts it and follow it. Take him!!!

Only 100 total points in the class, 25 per test. Each question wrong is 1% off final grade. No extra credit. Attend SI sessions and you will fill out your cheat sheets to be successful. Don't rely on your cheat sheets because he writes questions to trick you.

Amazing teacher! Class is out of 100 points, 25 each test but gives you all the information you need and allows a cheat sheet. I am terrible at chem but he was a great teacher, if you don't pass it's because you're not trying at all.

Great teacher! Just attend class and write all his notes. DO THE STUDY GUIDE! His study guide is literally the entire test in order so do it and write the answers on your cheat sheet and you will get an A. There is no curve and no homework so it's very important you do well on the tests.

Overall amazing teacher, he throughly explains the material he is teaching. Gives you everything he can to help you pass each test, but if you don't do the practice problems he assigns from the book you're only hurting yourself. They aren't graded but it will help tremendously.

Took CHM 150 in Spring 2014, listen & write what he writes everything you will need for the tests. Yes he allows cheat sheets BUT you are not allowed to use google or anything you feel like. A calculator yes, I had a TI-30, you just need basic math & common sense. 4 tests each 25pts thats all you get. Very helpful if you do have clarification q's

This class with gebler is beyond easy. He is a great professor, nice and smart. He lets use us anything we want on the test (computer, phone, book, notes) It makes the class not worth showing up. If you cannt pass chem130 then you should honestly consider transferring to a junior college. Even with google, the average in the class was 83%.

I know he's been looking for one of those chili peppers. :) Loved the class. I had never taken chemistry before so it required a lot of work on my part. As far as class goes, it was really interesting. I enjoyed his lectures, even his political interjections. It's an interesting class and he's an interesting person.

Dr. Gebler is an awesome teacher. If you go to all the lectures and do the practice problems you will do well in this class. Sure the class is only 100 points, 25 for each test, but he gives you a study guide with the subject of each question on the test. Plus you get to make a cheat sheet for each test. Take him for lab too.

Gebler is the BEST chemistry teacher I've ever had. This was my second time having him for lab and I hope I will have the opportunity to have him as a teacher again. He talks fast, yes, but he will slow down. All you have to do is ask. He's very helpful and funny. I often went to him for help in lecture because I didn't understand Kingsley.

AWESOME lab professor! Dr. Gebler is hilarious and makes chemistry so much fun! I loved him so much that I ended up taking him again for CHM 262 even though the only time he was teaching it was early in the morning. Very helpful! Favorite lab professor so far!

I was also surprised with the rating that this teacher got. He was hard to understand. He talked about everything fast, and acted like we should know Chemistry like he did, and that it was an easy topic. There is no homework and your grade is based on 4 test that are 25 questions each.

I was very surprised to see he had such a good rating. I think he is so hard to understand. He knows his chem but almost so well that he thinks this stuff is so easy and it's not. He misses a lot, his tests are hard and he gives nothing for grades except for tests. Hard course, if I could take someone else, I would.

Little hard to understand sometimes, and prone to go off on random soap box rants (which I found hilarious but some people might not). He gives you everything you could possibly need to pass the test (including telling exactly what each question would be about and allowing cheat sheats) so if you can't pass its your own fault!
