This class is very easy as long as you put effort into your film projects. If you do, you will get an easy A. However, no work will result in a poor grade. Seckinger is a very nice professor, but the hour fifty class can get a little dull and boring after an hour. Also, incorporate her feedback into your final projects for a great grade.

Mostly a decent person, she'd much rather just talk about whatever she's doing outside of her job and show you her personal videos than teach. She's not really clear about anything and would also rather you not say anything in class (including trying to have thoughtful conversation with her). She doesn't know what she's doing, ever, so you won't.

Can't effectively pass information and sucks out all the energy in the room. Only with Seckinger you can have a 2 hour course and do so little. Projects don't have a clear grading criteria so you don't know what she's looking for. Insufferable, always talking about her personal endeavors. Plus some despicable things she's done in class. Beware.

Disappointing class. She's a pretty cool person with cool interests, but as a teacher, not so much. Her lectures are kind of useless and you never know whats going on or what ur suppose to be learning. But its easy. However, I really would have rather learned in an Idea Development class! She's just a little selfish, and too busy to put much effort

I've had the liberty of taking her a few of her classes. Both of them were absolutely terrible but really easy. If you're looking for an A, do your work and compliment her as much as possible. She's a complete air head and she can turn a 15 minute meeting into an hour if you aren't careful. She doesn't care much about her students so watch out.

She is a cool person...passionate...nice...but she rambles on and on and on. And her assignment sheets don't make any sense. Then she marks you down...but you followed what the assignment sheet said....she should work on that.

Her love for bizzare, ecclectic documentary is only surpassed by her love for long, meanderingly pointless lectures. However, she knows a lot about docs in general and makes you work pretty hard. The creative part of the class was rewarding, but the downside was that we'd endure lectures that made us want to slit our wrists.

Bev loves documentary work and she lives and breathes it. She is a talented documentarian herself. If you don't like docs, you will hate her classes... even if the class isn't a doc class.
