Don't ever take this teacher! He is hard. the problems he put on the board are easier then the homework. He knows the material but can't teach it. He needs to reconstruct his teaching style. I barely passed the class. Oh and his tests are hard. You'll have look online in order to do the homework. This teacher sucks don't take him!!!

He's a really nice guy and you can tell that he really enjoys the subject. It's just that sometimes he can drift off in his own world. That and he's a bit disorganized. However he really cares about whether or not you learn in the class and will do his best to help you if you show interest.

Taught very well and homework assignments were helpful. Attending lectures is the only way to pass & understand the material. His class laid a great foundation for me getting my bachelors from Wayne State University.

He's great. Makes physics very clear to understand. Only time I used the book was if he assigned hw from it. Even if you aren't doing well if he sees you're putting in the effort he will curve your grade like crazy.

Dr. Bagchi is a wonderful professor. YES he is hard. I was nervous and scared the first few weeks of class. I knew it was going to take a lot of hard work and studying to pass his class. I could easily go to him after class and get help. Don't expect him to pass you just because you are on the attendance list.Come to class, study and pay attention!

Not sure if this prof is different for the engineering physics course, but I do not see how everyone thinks he is so great. He will silently write the answers to some problems on the board and then turn around and ask what you don't understand. Uh...like nothing! He also seems to make up lab assignments as he goes. There is no handout or guide.

Dr. Bagchi is absolutely 100% one of the best professors in the entire world. Physics is not an easy subject to understand, however Dr. Bagchi explains it extremely thoroughly and always makes himself available outside of the class room to ensure that his students are learning. Physics requires time and effort, so work hard and you will do great!
