Prof Anelli's class helped me analyze arguments from illogical fallacies, e.g. I can recognize when someone is attacking a person vs. addressing the issue and call them on it. If you keep up on the hmwk and reading, you'll do OK. He gives extra credit. He's also funny. 30% got A's last qtr;take him!

Nice instructor. Good lectures. Quizzes are dissent and from lectures. Mostly multiple choice.Final can be skipped if you do good.two argument papers. In general it’s a very interesting class and very nice and good instructor. I suggest taking it with him. I got an A and it wasn’t hard

Awesome teacher; even though he made a point to embarrass me in class a few times, I guess it was all in fun. He cares if you understand the material. There were no tests, only the midterm and final, which were way easy. Take home midterm, and a page of notes for the final.

I still have some of the papers I wrote for Bill Anelli's course, and now that I read them 2 years after having written them, I think "OMG! This is such crap!" Ahahaha! I have NO IDEA how I earned an A, but I'm not complaining. ;) I'd surely recommend taking him. Has a lisp & he'll make you laugh!

Gives very helpful lectures (and website notes) and is always willing to answer questions or clarify things. Rather lenient on grading and usually uses a curve. Also gives you several ops for EC. But be warned: there is a LOT of reading and most of it is difficult stuff written by weird dead dudes.

I loved this class so much! He is very animated and funny in his lectures. Although, some of the material was hard to understand, I don't think another teacher could have done a better job. Be ready to do some writing if you want an A.

this guy favors people so bad. if your not into phil then do not take it. not even for GE. if he does not like what you write, although it is correct acording to the philosopher, he will mark you down for it because it is only right though his prospective of the literature. very hard headed person!

Very nice guy. Doing well in class doesn't take too much at all, and the homework load aint too bad. material can be difficult, but his class discussions make them easier to understand. and the subject will interest far more people than it will bore. overall great generally easy class and teacher.

If u're not into philosophy, don't even think about taking this class, it is so freaking complicated and boring, i kept falling asleep listening to the teacher, there's way too much reading and it would take u forever to get through it, u'd have to study like crazy, too much stress... he's annoying.

I can't believe what I'm reading. I thought he was a moron, always having to ask for clarification since he made several mistakes during lecture. He spent too much time on easy concepts and not enough on difficult ones. Nice guy, bad teacher.
