Phenomenal teacher. All info comes from his lectures and he does his best to make it interesting. His lectures are crystal clear and aren't filled with useless info, just what you need to know to pass the quiz. If you show up and take notes, read them over before the test you will do fine. He is very helpful and is guaranteed to make you laugh :)

Memorize all 50 states,the cities map and the river/mnt quiz, thats way easy. Write down as much as possible from the lectures. His quizes on the lectures are fill in the blank so pay attention and go to class. He is a really funny guy. The book is only for two different easy writting assinments that a monkey could do.attendance is a must. Cool guy

Funny guy. Easy and interesting class. He touches on the basic points of U.S. history. quite a bit of quizzes which are based on lecture. The midterm and final are a combination of all of the quizzes. you only use the book for a quick and easy project. The only thing that I found useless was the map quizzes. he would test us on all the 50 states et

I've never been interested in U.S. history or remotely learning about it until this class. Mr. Brummel is funny, interesting and makes learning fun. Also, because of his frequent fill-in-the-blank quizzes from lecture, it forces you to attend class and retain the information. Once of the most well taught lower level courses at Saddleback.

Nice guy, great sense of humor. You will laugh. Pretty easy class, just take good notes and its very clear what will be on the tests. Short answer tests, but really simple. Fun class. I've always hated history but this isn't so bad.

This guy is rad! I have never been so interested in History in my entire life. He makes it worth while and i have a mid-sememster class with him. I blieve he is truely one of a kind and if you like a good laugh, he is the teacher for you.

hes pretty grumpy, but funny at easygoing at the same time sometime. if you are booksmart and can easily remember facts you learn then you will do great. he is extremely straightforward on what is on exams !! If you pay attention in class, take notes, and do your home work you will get an A unless you have a learning disorder, or you are not good at memorizing singular facts about history.
