Nice fella. Really knows business cycles, so if you take his class, be prepared to concentrate or it's just gonna go right over your head. Messy notes, but very helpful and easy to reach. Pretty boring class, try to get something else if you can.

He's a very knowledgeable guy. His lectures are a little hard to follow but he goes straight off of the class notes book. I found the reader that cost $70 to be useless. Just copy the one or two articles you need to read out of someone else's copy. Tests are all essay and follow his study guide directly. Project is easy. Interesting material.

2 exams, 1 project, final(optional) can replace a test, few extra credit opportunities. exams are essay, just answer his questions. awesome class if you want to learn something that is actually useful. he also really knows this stuff.

Lots of work involved in this class. Teacher is smart and knows what hes talking about, but i couldnt hang with him. Tests are hard, but he grades easy. Long project at end, but not too bad. If you like econ, take carter.

Hard Class, tough material. Carter is nice but a tough grader. Aprox 2 A's out of the entire class. Interesting class, helps you understand the economy but will probably bring down your GPA. 2 tests, final optional, or drops worst score. Final project=time cosuming, need good group. Gives a little xtra credit, do it. Ended up w/B, wasn't worth it

Bill is a really nice guy his class is too long and boring, I went to every single class and studied hard for each test, but overall I found the class to be EXTREMELY HARD didn't understand the Business Cycle the project is also hard and really long spend 40hrs doing it on total with 3 other people.Drops one test if U take final gives extra credit.

I guess for the difficulty of the subject Carter does a good job lecturing, but dont take notes during class because his handwriting sucks. Not a very understanding professor either so make sure you do well on the tests or spend a lot of time kissing butt in his office hrs. That seemed to work out great for some of my classmates.

What a graet guy. He doesn't necessarily make it easy on you but that is a good thing, because what he is teaching is not easy, but he'll somehow inspire you to work at it. Take the class and feel smarter afterwards.

This class will actually be useful when I graduate! Bill is a smart man who is looking out for the students. He wants us to make money with the information he teaches. Two test, two extra credits (up to 10% extra on each test) and one big project that makes the business cycle understandable.

OK, here's the deal: his lectures are long, somewhat boring, and not very clear. He's very enthusiastic, but confusing and he has the WORST handwriting, it's illegible. Get a good group, you have 2 group projects, and they're both hard. Write everything you can on the cheat sheet for the test, you'll need it. If you study hard, you'll get a B+.
