Comment:

Genuine professor. Took intro to CJ and loved him. He is very nice and gives lots of examples related to the lecture. Lots of notes but if you take them, it pays off. Frequent 5 multiple choice quizzes on fridays but typically easy. GO TO HIS CLASS. Attendance is mandatory.

Comment:

Insanely nice guy, has clearly been teaching for some time. Lots of Powerpoints and lectures, and calls students up to "present" for certain chapters but he just ends up talking for most of the time so its an easy A for that. The honors class had no tests at all and the longest papers were like 3 pages, I recommend him!

Very good professor and an even better person. His class can be a little more difficult if you don't take any notes or pay attention in class but is overall very easy. He cares very much about his students and will help you with issues such as finding a career that suits you. He can offer good backround info on topics due to his previous DA job.

Professor Cook is a wicked nice guy, kind of like a grandfather figure. He will always help you. He gives you 5 quizzes and a paper. He teaches off of power points, so if you don't like power points then this class won't be good for you. He goes quick through the slides so there's never any time to write them down. But he's a good professor.

Very good teacher. He is always kind and respectful and as long as you do the work he asks you to do, you wil pass the course. There is a long paper at the end, but you can choose what you do it about (within Criminal Justice relevance).

Had him for Intro my first semester, and I absolutely loved him, so I madeure that I had him as a professor again. He understands material can get boring/difficult and does what he can to help. His essays and tests weren't too difficult, and he was there if you needed help. Would ABSOUTELY recommend him. You will learn A LOT!

His ethics class was difficult because he was not a good teacher. No one understood anything and it showed on his tests cuz the class was suppose to teach the class by powerpoints and this was gunna be part of our grade a major part but we learned nonthing so it stopped. His tests suckd cuz he only used 20 fill in blank questions. Everyon got Bs Cs

Great professor. Knows so much and throughly explains everything. Doesn't let you cross of an answer on tests or quizzes, but he said it because he caught a lot of people cheating, so I can understand. All in all, great professor.

big willy is an awesome teacher. will do anything for you to get good grade. looks like mr. rogers on most days (not in a creepy way). extremely understanding and funny. lets you out 5 minutes early almost everyday

I've took around 4 or 5 classes with him. He is possibly one of or the best CRJU professors on the staff. He is extremely knowledgeable and clear about whatever class he is teaching. Go to class, pay attention and participate; not only will you do well, but become a generally better student because of it.
