Bill is a great professor. He has had excessive experience in theater, and can give much advice to do with writing and acting. He also allows the class to have open-minded discussions. He often shows the class materials such as videos and interviews that are relevant to current materials. He could work to challenge his students more.

Great prof! A lot more work that I would've anticipated for a gen ed, but he makes the topic really interesting. Provides good feedback and a gives students lots of opportunities for help. He's an awesome guy and I highly recommend this course.

Comment:

Dr. Kennedy's class was a great experience. As a UC course, the class itself was not fun at all, but he didn't give any busy work, and gave really great feedback on assignments. The only assignments were did were the important ones, no worksheets or anything. And while the final exam was time-consuming, it was take-home and really made you think.

Bill has a tendancy to ramble and he often tells the same stories repeatedly-He is interesting to talk to outside of class though.He's a bit thin skinned for a theatre person and if you're in his shows he will type cast you.

Learned much about waht goes into putting on a play and even a whole season. Learned the basics of everything from running auditions, to blocking, to setting up a schedule, asking for money. I doubt I will ever direct a school play, but if I was forced to I think I would at least know where to start.

Bill is a very knowledgeable professor and makes class interesting. However, his choices of plays tend to be very safe and a little cheesy. (there's a reason no one does Philemon!) He's got a lot to offer if he'd take more chances!
