Bill Waddell is probably the hardest grader I have experienced while being at Fisher. His lectures are extremely boring, he makes jokes that only he laughs at, and no one ever understands him. Honestly if you can dont take a class with him. I currently have As in al of my classes except his which Im barely getting a C in. Not a fan!!

I had Dr. Waddell for First Gen. Thankfully he liked my writing style so I did well however he is a tough grader. Often goes in depth on basic concepts which can be confusing and his writing assignment expectations can be vague. Nice guy but he doesn't really get to the point

Waddell clearly loves poetry, but he has no idea how to teach about it. Lectures were DREADFUL due to lack of planning. The anthology is essentially useless because you can google all the poem assigned. Tough grader for most students because he doesn't provide set expectations.

Hardest class ever. Content isn't hard, but no one understands the professor at all. What did he just say??? No one knows, he rambles on trying to "pose" questions about boring books the whole time. Worst professor

Dr. Waddell, although a very nice man, was not the easiest professor when it came to grading. My first few papers I received low B's and High C's. (grades I was NOT use to) He doesn't seem to have a clear focus on his curriculum or agenda for the day and kind of just bases his class around questions people ask in class.

He is a really nice guy. When I was sick and missed a week of class he was very understanding and emailed me everything I missed. He is a tough grader though. I have yet to get an A on an assignement as do most of the people in my class.

Really nice man. Sometimes he gets a little off topic, but he is really easy-going and helpful. He does talk a lot, so be prepared to listen. And he tried to make Early British Lit, which is a super boring subject interesting. He really cares about his students and he listens to rock and roll! His assignment sheets are very wordy, however.
