Tirone is a genius of a professor! I wasn't much one for philosophy before his class, but still after 7 years I find myself pondering many of the questions and ideas that he posed to us as students. By far, one of the best professors at Marywood!

One of the best professors at Marywood. If you're not an art major, it might be harder to get into this course (unless you sign up early for summer). But definitely take him if you can.

Dr. Tirone is dead-on funny, and he tells it like it is. As well as gets the material across very effectively. At first I thought he was crazy but came to see he's just one of a kind. Wished I could've talked to him more-- we were both shy. Real chill.

This is just about the most bizzare guy I have ever met. If you get his jokes you won't be able to stay away from class. If you don't you'll hate it. The man is definitely a genuis and it is true that genuis' belong to there own unique class. Take a summer class, you won't even miss the warm weather

I'll be graduating soon and I think that Tirone will be my fav over all the years. Hes brilliant and an even better comedian. It was like going to a comedy club every class and I actually learned the material too. Unique and easy and indescribably the best you can have. I'll actually miss him.

He's a brillant teacher& is also not afraid to compare art with Star Trek, which he frequently does. Dr. Nick has a certain delivery with his speech that captivates you as you never heard anything like it before. Wish I could take another class with him.

Very different teacher in a good way, always making us think - and he allows us to go off an any tangent as long as we keep thinking and probing in the process

Hilarious guy...I'm going to miss that class. Watch out for those pop quizzes though. Other than that, great teacher who is able to relate to his students and keep them laughing.

Pretty funny, in a subtle way. Has great stories in class; his dog (Gilligan), how he can't find the right pair of jeans...Explains the reading well. Gives pop quizzes (aka USAE), and a few papers.
