Eccentricity combined with academic mastery into one single charismatic embodiment. His fashion (ha!) and unique vision (no pun intended) gives students a taste possitively different from other profs "got-stuck-teaching-the-ho-hum-prereqs" complacencies. Recommanded.

Eccentric, but brilliant! Had him for several courses, and his analytical abilties to break down and explain concepts always amaze me. His eccentricity can make its way into his feedback comments though and make them sound bold or outspoken.

Not enough people took this class. Still, it was the best class I have ever taken in my whole undergrad. This prof had a huge impact on my understanding of musical analysis and composition (as I have taken a few of his classes). He is an excellent teacher.
