I just finished my May Mini and I have to say, Public Speaking isn't my favorite. However, Wade is an amazing professor! He gives great feedback and honestly, if you do the work you need t do, you'll pass. I'd take any class again from him.

I just finished the May Mini and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Professor Hescht. There are six quizzes and three speeches, very doable in three weeks. He gives excellent feedback and helps you grow so much in your speech performing ability in just three short weeks. Extra credit, drops one quiz and one outline grade, allowed to take each quiz twice.

I LOVED this class, more so than any I have taken so far. He is a great professor and literally will give you all you need to succeed. HE gives great feedback on your speech outlines, all you have to do is correct your mistakes and you will do great! DON'T READ FROM THE PAPER!!!! Keep good eye contact and volume and you'll be great! AND NO UMMS!

My favorite part of the minimester was that Wade opened up everything on the first day, so I was able to complete everything before leaving for vacation. It was not too hard to knock out the outlines, and I recommend having more than one speech ready to present in front of an audience while you have enough people in front of you. Loved this class!

I took the 8 week Public Speaking class. So easy! 4 speeches that require 1 outline each. Speeches must be recorded with an audience of 3 people. There are a few quizes but they're really easy. Straight from the book and 10 questions. You can take each quiz twice and he drops your 2 lowest quiz grades. It's an easy, easy A. Nice professor!

I took this as A mini-mester he's a good teacher. You don't really need the book. The only thing I disliked was recording the speeches then uploading them on youtube, and you need 3 audience members per speech. I thought 3 was a bit much maybe two would've been better. We had to make an outline per speech. But he's a fair grader.

Online speech classes are a drag, but he made it a little better. Quizzes are all available at the start of the class, so I knocked them out in one day. Read over your outlines before you turn them in!! He will take off points for a stray comma, so double-check yourself. Overall, pretty decent. Just do the work and turn everything in on time.

I felt like a lot of the assignments given really had nothing to do with communication rather psychology. Perhaps they go hand in hand, I suppose. I managed to escape with a "B" because he's fair but tough on grading. He also sends plenty reminders when assignments are due but "by noon" was difficult for me to do so I often got late points deducted

I had Mr. H during the summer and it didn't even feel like I was in school. He makes it very clear with what you need to do. Amazing teacher and person! He's always trying to help you with whatever problems you come across. Definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a Speech class!
