Dr Ferrandino is probably the most intelligent musical mind I have come across thus far. He knows anything and everything about music theory. I really recommend taking his class but only if you love music theory and really want to learn and apply new material. Otherwise, let someone else get the chance to study under him. Don't waste his time!

Ferrandino is amazing. From freshman to doctoral students, every musician I know that is interested in learning loves him. He looks a little like a goat which is funny, but you'll still respect him. He has so much patience and is always willing to work with students in and out of class. Brilliant man! work hard for him; he'll do the same for you.

The man is an absolute genius. You are in college to learn, and luckily for TCU, Ferrandino is one of the top teachers in the country. If you think he is rude, then frankly, you need to study more, or change your major. Blessed are those who can take from such and amazing intellect.
