I had no issue with his lecture portion and his exams, but this is a LAB class (50%) I have never taken an anatomy class so handling them was a bit difficult. You take 4 exams and he drops your lowest. Take adv of the TA's office hours on Sunday to handle the bones.

Great guy, even makes the driest of bones interesting. The book can be found online for free, and is quite helpful. Lab is fairly easy once you figure out how to study.

Dr. Pearson is really a delightful professor. You can tell he loves what he teaches and his excitement and knowledge is palpable in his class. I never got bored during his lectures. His study guides are pretty tedious but if you go through them, you usually will do very well on the tests. I would recommend him to anyone!

If you show up to class, especially on review days, and you complete the study guide, you should have no problem getting an A. His study guides are long and annoying but are critical for doing well on his tests. He drops your lowest test. He also curves the test scores if the class average is below 75%. He is AMAZING!

His class is rough but overall I loved how he did his lectures it really got me into the subject. He's a nice guy and easily approachable. Will help you pass and really knows what he's talking about. You can tell he loves teaching and is very experienced in the subject matter. Tests are tough and review sheets are long but he's a great professor.

Yes, Pearson is a good professor. He is very helpful and explains the subject well. BUT - THIS IS IMPORTANT - Do NOT take this class for Anthropology. The four exams he gives are extremely difficult. The study guides have an average of 100 questions or terms you must know. I sold my study guides because no one did them. Take another anthro class!!

This class was pretty enjoyable and easy. He posts lecture notes online, so you can get away with skipping out on going to class for the most part. He shows a few films throughout which are important and interesting to watch, though. He really loves his subject, so I always enjoyed going to class anyway. Awesome guy.

He's a good professor, the lectures are just really boring. The exam review is super long so most of the stuff isn't on the actual test.

Really easy class, if you can find the motivation to go and stay awake in the lectures. Videos and lectures only…although it is easy to not pay attention and not take notes, the study guides can give you chance to pass the exam. 4 exams but 1 exam gets dropped. There's also extra credit for each exam that goes towards the exams (5 pts).

Ozzie is an incredibly professor. It is of the utmost importance that you attend EVERY lecture. He uses textbooks mostly for reference, so don't think you can skip lectures in favor of reading the text books. His tests are very difficult and require lots and lots of studying to pull an A. Take anything you can with him. You won't be disappointed!

Ozzie is delightful and funny. A truly compassionate person. Sadly, I find Physical Anthro deeply confusing and boring, but that isn't his fault. I enjoyed his lectures, but the tests were way too hard. Studying for this class was incredibly time consuming. If you like the science end of Anthro, you will love him.

Ozzie discusses the more interesting facets of anthro which I was pleased with. I took anthro with a different professor and it was extremely boring. I will admit there were times I was bored during lectures with Ozzie, but he made the majority of them interesting. Four exams and optional extra credit. Study notes!

He knows his stuff, but this class is SOOOOO boring. Grades are based only on test grades, but he does give you extra credit option which will REALLY help your grade in the long run. Also he dropped one test grade. Final is only a test #4 on latest material. Easy class, but pay attention or you'll fail.
