Comment:

Great teacher, fair and tough, but always focused on learning correctly. Easier to understand than most teachers with accents and pleasant to deal with outside of class. She's busy being the chairperson too, but still available.

Good teacher. Really takes the time to explain the material by giving lots of relevant examples. Just male sure to get help on labs and homeworks before the due date because she'll take points off and they count heavily towards your final grade.

Good professor. Contrary to what others have said I don't think her homeworks are long, but you better do them on time and if you need help on them make sure to get it because hws have a big impact on your grade. If you understand the hws the exams are easy. She'll meet you halfway and will help you after class.

Rude and obnoxious without realizing it. Homework is long - and she wants all work done out or you receive no credit - repeatedly told me I was failing and should drop the class in front of the whole class. Hard work doesn't mean anything to her - only getting the right answer in her way. Always available for help. Grading is random and poorly done

If you are among those who would like to work 18-20 hours besides the class do take her. She never comes to class prepared. Thinks about a crazy project instantly and wants u to work on it. U are not fully done she add more of her thoughts into it. She is quite hard.

She is an acquired taste. I happened to like her style of teaching because she was on point and everything she taught was relevant to the material. She is challenging and she meets you halfway as far as being helpful but the other half depends on the student actually doing the work and taking the time to understanding it.

Hatfield will go out of her way to oversimplify things simply to make it harder for you when you have to complete the absurdly long and overcomplicated homework assignments. She demands that we purchase a book that hasn't been released yet and refuses to help when we don't have it. Terrific waste of time and effort on her course.

Rude teacher and doesn't even realize it; had to put up with some uncalled for remarks implying laziness when she has no clue what my personal life is like. My first impression was that she was a good teacher, but my opinion changed by the end of the semester. She's available for help after class - only positive. Homework is LONG, ridiculously so.

She is very demanding from her students with a lot of home work. Her examples in class are much easier then HW. I absolutely don't know why but she told us that she made class harder to increase our knowledge (on something we don't even need)

Lot of work, but she makes sure you understand the topic. Homework counts for 50% of your grade, so just make sure you do the homework. She is always available for questions thru email. And if she knows you are having a problem, she'll take the time to fully explain it to you and work with you.

i had her for computers and their uses. she wasnt much of a help. she is a nice lady who means well, but her class is awful. its loads upon loads of busy work, i probably spent more time on assignments for that class than i did for all of my classes for my major combined. i do not recommend this class, try to test out of it if you possibly can
