Bob means well but really has not taught much. I feel like I am retaking the other writing class except this time we have a lot, I mean a lot of guest speakers. I'm really not impressed with this class.

Bergland was my favorite prof my first semester at MWSU. His class wasn't hard at all, and every day, we did something different. He is HILARIOUS, and the students really like him. I STRONGLY recommend taking him. I'm not a journalism major, but his class was a lot of fun.

Bob is a really good professor. He knows what he's talking about. He cares for his students. I took one class with him so far but i like that class. He explained what he wants well. Do what he wants and you'll get the grade that will makes you happy :) Don't be late and buy the text books : ) you'll enjoy learning from Bob.

I preferred this class over the prerequisite for the class. I thought this was one of the easier classes. Be ready to step back into elementary school for some basic grammar lessons in the beginning.

DO NOT SKIP THIS CLASS. He is a great teacher but I hate copy editing. If you are late then he will not accept your assignment or let you take his daily quiz no matter what. Very nice guy just really hate the subject. No drive to even go to class

Great professor! The class is fun and interesting. he doesnt use a textbook, just uses articles that hes put together online. Stories are graded very tough but he outlines everything he wants so just stick to the guidelines. Best advice: TAKE EVERY STORY TO HIM BEFOREHAND AND LET HIM TELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO CORRECT! did this and got A's

The course uses the textbook heavily in both exams and quizzes, so study the chapter review questions. The professor gives a lot of extra credit and drops a quiz grade. The paper and presentation are both low-stress, and the overall class is well-organized. The professor's fashion/music sense is without peer. Skinny ties and eighties music!

I had him for basic news writing and it was very easy and he was always willing and available to review papers for me. It's interesting to see what he's going to wear the next day because his shirt and tie mismatch is very extreme!
