Brings out the best in students, forcing them to think on their feet. This class is not for the shy! Bob is very clear and can be hard to keep up if you're a slacker or don't understand! Definitely an asset to the law school. Area of improvement: making time for students outside class, which most lecturers at UBC seem unable/unwill to do.

Good Prof. Dedicated and prepared. Clear lectures and good in-class interaction. He could be a GREAT prof if he made more time available to students, but that's because UBC law is understaffed with full-time faculty members (not really his fault). A good prof at a BAD law school.

Best prof yet at law school. Hilarious, funny, engaging and clear. Teaches very, very fast. Asks for your questions after each topic. Definitely take this class!!!

Very knowledgeable and teaches quite clearly. However, he's fast and you got to keep up. Don't even *think* of coming to class without doing those readings. Definitely not a class to be caught slacking in. Grades on a generous curve.

He's funny, he's knowledgable, and he expects you to keep up. He's great, but the class is HARD, especially if you're lazy. He makes sure you understand, but if you haven't read the material, look out!
