He is unfair. Does not let students correct their mistakes once one has been made. Instead he goes to dean of students

Horrible prof. He is so quiet you can't even hear him! English is my major and I have never met someone with such disgust of teaching. He never wanted to meet for office hours and refused me help! B/c of this I am goung to report him to the English chair and Dean of Students.

The BEST film professor! He's passionate about film, insightful, and he inspires students to think about & discuss film analytically. Definitely a fair grader. If you have any interest in the subject, take a film course with this professor before he retires!

He's hilarious, and it takes a little bit to get used to how quiet he talks...but he really enjoys what he does. He loves when students come up with ideas that he's never thought of. He should comment more on ideas in papers rather than grammar. The biggest complaint I have is that when we got to novels he was unclear about reading assignments.

I loved this professor! He is a cute old man, mumbles during lectures and bangs the board with his fist for emphasis. The readings were easy and interesting and I thought the lectures were entertaining. I would take him again.

too basic and boring for an english major-think HS lit conflict, theme etc. 2nd sem reading load is too great- 500 pg novels in 2 weeks covered loosely more plot than analysis- 1st sem too light. A lot of film versions of texts. paper grades depend a lot on grammar. Nice guy, enthusiastic

This guy is soooo boring!! He talks to the ground and waves his arms around way too much. His assignments were unclear. He likes to hear himself talk and talk down about women

Nice guy, but very, very boring. Obscenely easy readings, the hardest part is just sitting through the lectures (which is required since he counts attendance). But, I have only had him in English...so maybe his film classes are more interesting?

Dr. Eberwein is a great teacher. He loves what he does, and he loves to hear new ideas from his students. Class is 90% lecture and tests are based on students' own ideas. If you can come up with creative ideas on essay questions you you do great in class.

Very nice and smart, but he never actually talks about the films that we watched, just ones he feels like talking about when he rambles on. Boring, but OK.

Stamps his feet and yells when he loses a thought. Goes off on tangents, but probably brilliant. Really loves movies, which makes his class interesting. Long lectures. Likes student comments.
