I did not like this class or this professor at all. He would "lecture" but half the time no one knew what he was talking about and he would get lost himself. He would tell more stories than he would teach. You have to read the textbook to understand anything.

He is real easy. You have hardly any homework and if you pay attention in class than you'll do fine on his quizzes. He asks you to do the study guides from online, they really do help out on the test. He is really a good professor.

There were 3 tests. The tests offered a few bonus points. The online study guides are where a lot of test questions come from. Definitely study those. Figgins is a nice guy. He has a dry sense of humor, and he'll start off telling you what you think is a story, and at the end it's actually a joke. The actual class is a bit boring.

the class is really quite easy, Dr. Figgins knows his stuff and if you pay attention you will do fine. he has several quizzes throughout the semester, and 3 tests and the final. BUY THE STUDY GUIDE! 1/3 of his test questions come from the section reviews in it. overall he is a good, friendly teacher. highly recommended.

he is an AWESOME teacher! his class is basically easy. as long as you listen in class and read through the chapters in the book you'll do fine. all his test and most of his quizzes are t/f and they are super easy.

Professor Figgins is awesome. He really knows what he's talking about, and actually teaches it to you in a way that's easy to understand. Of course, I'm an Econ major so it comes easy to me. He does tell corny jokes, and can be a little boring at times because of his tone of voice. Tests aren't hard. Sometimes gives easy T/F quizzes after lecturing

I hated this class. Figgins was horrible. Made me cry after I got a test back :I stayed for review and listened to him go over test but didn't ask questions because I had no clue what to ask, so he came up to me and took my test right out of hands. Does not care about about his students. Think he is dying and won't be back in the FAll of 2008 TG

Nice Professor. He tells stories that relates to economics. Sometimes it may seem like he is just rambling but he is just trying to help relate the subject. I got a C in the class but I didn't study as hard as I should have. If I would have studied more I could have least got a B. Three tests and a final. No homework.

Mr. Figgin's class is tough if you want at least a B. His 3 tests each cover 5 chapters so you'll need to study hard before the tests. If you do not miss more than 4 days he'll count your final twice and eliminate your lowest test. The final is what saves you. Oh yea and you're on your own. He's no help.

Figgins has a very dry sense of humor, and can be rude. 3 exams during semester. they are only easy if you study for more than 5 hours, otherwise very difficult. if your attendance is good, then your final will replace one of the exams. the final is straight from the study guide.

Teaches like you already know about Econ. He's hard to learn from but if you'll read over the chapters and take your own notes it gets easy! Tests are not bad. No homework. Just go to class and try to pay attn!! FINAL IS SUPER EASY!!! Do ok on exams and good on final.. you'll get atleast a B!

He his not a good teacher at all. He goes over the stuff, but its not that easy to understand because he is so random. However, if you just take three nights out of your semeseter and read the book and fill out the study guide, youll get an A or B. I echo the others in dont miss more than 4 days, cause the final can replace your lowest grade.

I agree when people say that Figgins sits up there and rambles. He does not teach his class very well. Buy the study guide and DO NOT miss more than 4 days because you can drop your lowest grade and replace it with the same grade that you make on your final. DO NOT take Figgins for this class. You will teach yourself.
