Professor Francis is the Econ King! Hard class? Certainly. Fantastic class? One of the best at SCC. He knows the material can be challenging and makes every effort to give the students a chance to learn what they need to know. He makes it clear what you will be tested on. Make sure you take notes, do the homework, and attend the study sessions.

Whoa! interesting class until the last day. One of great teachers in Shoreline; take his class and you have no regret.There is no royal road for this subject. First, he's got an extraordinary ability to explain and teach a complex topic. I've heard that Franics is hard compared to others, but it really depends on if you get the material and put an effort in learning it, no matter who your teacher is. I'd take Francis again!

He is extremely helpful,and a very very nice person.He likes to joke around.Explains very carefully, trying to get everyone involved.His test is a little tough, need to be very careful.But he will review what've learned before the test by organizing study groups. Professor Francis is by far the best teacher I have ever had. I had him for Econ 101, and liked him and the class so much that I decided to go on and take Econ 201 and 202 with him as well. His tests are tough but is extremely accessible to students and encourages them to use him as a resource at all times!

I took his 201 class at 7:30 in the morning so like most of the class I was half asleep when I got there. Professor Francis livened up the room and woke everyone up with funny jokes and very interesting stories. I highly recommend this professor, aside from being a very nice man he is very accessible to students, all the comments are true.

Absolutely the best teacher I have ever had in my life. His lectures are very entertaining and he always relates the material to real world life, or sometimes the land of the widgets!
