Very warm and did not make you feel stupid if you had questions. Such a sweet instructor!! I loved that he passes out notes for us to refer to. He returns the assignments the next class day (which is rare to find in anyone anymore!!). He makes sure his students are working, but also takes pity when you have problems. Overall amazing.

He's a great teacher! Labs kinda suck. He gives you a test worth 50 points, then a take home test worth 50 points, which is your exam grade. I didnt really like his teaching. I only went to class once a week (MWF)and got a B+ in the class. If you try you can get an A. Highly recomend.. Other teachers are a lot harder than he is. TAKE THIS CLASS

Bob Heiny is a wonderful man! Anytime I needed help, he offered to help me. He is kind, intelligent, good at teaching, and very caring. Take his class because if you go to class and work on the homework, you can get an A since the tests are open book.

Bob Heiny is one of the best teachers I have had here at UNC. He is very kind and helpful and goes out of his way to get to know his students. Responds to emails and returns assignments very quickly. All tests are open book/open note. Would recommend to try and get him for any of his classes!

Doctor Heiny is the SWEETEST old man I have ever met in my life. He is kind. Helpful. He cares about each student and wants to get to know you. And I could tell that he really enjoyed what he was talking about. He will do example after example, until you understand. And his tests were open note. I would take every class with him if I could.

BEST TEACHER EVER! Seriously, get him at all costs. He made statistics easy and went out of his way to be helpful. He is the nicest, friendliest, best teacher ever and made stats a pretty easy class. Also all tests are open note open book.

Heiny is awesome. He is very nice and has a sense of humor. He doesn't take attendance but it is really important to come to understand everything b.c. topics build off of each other. Heiny is understanding and lets you turn in homework up until the day of the test for each section.
