He makes the class is interesting and is great lecturer. There was no class text when I took his class but there is now from what I hear. My class had around 5 homework assignments. There are two test, an open boo section for both. No final, just a binder check at the end so take good notes and be organized throughout. Very feasible to get an A.

He's a great guy, and the class is fairly interesting. His tests are really random, but it you take good notes you should be fine. It's also fun to count how many times he says "From that standpoint" in class; our record was 34 in an hour.

really good professor, quizzes are easy and the homework never seems to have just one right answer, tests are pretty ok but he asks about random facts sometimes that he only mentioned once in class so be sure to take good notes, notebook due at the end of the semester worth 10% of your grade so keep all of your papers

Doc bob is sooo awesome. definitely go to his office hours, whether you need help or not. his laugh is hilarious. his "pop" quizzes are typically questions like "what day is it today?" so just read and show up and its not hard. some tests are part take-home too. take his classes!!!

Doc Bob is the best professor I've had yet at Vanderbilt. He's the kind of professor you hear about in admissions booklets, as he has a genuine compassion for how his students are doing both in and out of the classroom.
