Best teacher I've had at chabot. Accounting itself is not easy but with all her real world examples she really helps it be more fun and understandable. Easy grading criteria. 4 exams total, 1 hw assignment, 1 quiz, and 1 learn smart assignment per chapter. Do your work, participate and you will be successful in this course.

Very frustrating and restrictive guidelines for posting that are a waste of student time. For instance, all forum posts require two citations for each answer and three student responses. Really? It's accounting. You multiply and move numbers around.

I'm most happy that Professor Bhangal always replied by email and on the discussion board. I don't have an accounting background so it was very helpful to have a teacher like Jas really care about her students as well the layout plan for this summer course. I'm also thankful that she DID NOT require at least 350 words per post on the DB.

If you think taking bus1A online will be easy, it isn't. She makes you WORK for your grade. Weekly discussion, hwk, quizzes. Midterm every three chapters. This online class was more work than had I taken it in person. Honestly, the first few hwks I had anxiety attacks trying to do it because of how much work it was for something online.

I'm taking Payroll as an online class, so it is reading heavy. I like the way Prof. Bhangal structured the class: weekly detailed discussion board posts, several homework assignments & a test per chapter, and a giant payroll project at the end. There's also lots of extra credit, so put in the effort and you can do well. Def an informative class.

Prof. Bhangal cares a lot about her students and if you come to class on time, do any class activities, and do your homework, you will do well in the class. She wants to see that you are putting effort into the class. Her use of specific real world examples and in-class worksheets really helped solidify concepts for me.

Ms Jaswinder Bhangal is one of best teachers I' ve met at Chabot College. Her class is very good and active. I learned a lot from this class. I not only got the knowledge from the textbook, but also get abundant knowledge outside the class which is very helpful for me. Ms Jas is a nice teacher, she always cares us and gives helpful methods to us.

She is an excellent professor as far as how she has her class structured. The only issue I had with her is that she was a little condescending on an issue I had with the opening of a midterm. I worked extremely hard in her class and there was a glitch which ultimately it was worked out. Her feedback is not the best either.

She's an amazing teacher. Skipping this class and procrastination will be your worst enemy. Do the learning assignment and read the chapter at the same time to retain the info. better. There's two midterms after every three chapters and you can take it at home. I recommend taking bus. 7 first, but if you don't have time it's doable.

Currently taking Bus 1A with her and its so great! It can get really overwhelming if you don't put the time and effort into it. The week goes like this: 1 discussion post, 2 replies , then you have the learning assignments on connect where you have: 1 homework assignment, 1 video and answer, and quiz. Just do the work and and ask questions.

Prof Bhangal is awesome! I highly recommend this class for all Bus majors. I took this class in the hybrid format & all tests were open note take home exams. She is strict but fair. Lectures are informative and she encourages discussion. This class is not an easy A, but if you can't do well in this class you are gonna struggle at a real college.

make sure to read the chapters- won't do well o n the quizzes without it. some of the questions are math calculations, others are on the little details. big final project due at the end. you've got at least 3 weeks to complete - worth alot of points- don't wait till the last minute- it's time consuming. participate in weekly discussions!

Professor Bhangal is very sweet and helpful. Don't show up to class late. Do your homework and participate. Listen and ask questions or clarifications. She gives extra credit on every hw, quizzes and midterms. All of those are online and are open book. DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE IN CLASS, and instead participate. Find a study buddy or a tutor.

In order to get an A, make sure you do all of your Connect assignments on time, attend her lectures and ask questions when confused. She is a cool person and she always find ways to help her students. She even warns you guys ahead of time, and when she calls you out don't be embarrassed it is actually a truly learning moment

Summer Term: HW & quiz for 6 chapters and just 4 tests. Payroll Project was optional & extra credit for summer only. Six DBs, but not worth a lot of points so if you get great scores in HW & quizzes you can skip the DBs and still get an A in the class. For DBs, you have to post and respond on multiple days or else points will be deducted.
