Very interesting and I always looked forward to going to class.Would go off on many tangents,which kept us interested.He taught us not only about what it would say in the textbook, but about life.He is very much so a leftist, but he doesn't use that against any students. Some assignments seems pointless or unnecessary. Overall good teacher.

He taught me comparative revolutions. I hated it, in class we essentially learned nothing. It was all discussion based but we had nothing to discuss b/c we werent taught anything. For not clearly explaining or teaching anything he is a tough grader. He is very available and willing to help outside of class but i took nothing out of mtg with him

Bob Trudeau is amazing! His class seems disorganized, but you eventually realize that he had an over-arching plan all semester. He is a realist and an idealist and a breath of fresh air. His classic lines are superb: "We want to avoid whipping ourselves with the wet noodle of perfection." -BT

The class is all discussion (lots of it online), so if you don't want to participate take someone else. Trudeau is a good guy, tons of interesting stories and he knows his stuff. He leans way to the left but respects all opinions as long as you can back them up. A little cocky, but as far as I'm concerned he's earned that right. Recommend.

I really like Dr. Trudeau as a person, but as a teacher I had difficulties in his class. Most assignments were given on ANGEL and discussions online were not done out of pure love of the subject but fear of a bad grade. No tests, just a paper and a Final, which he rips pieces. Had a strong interest in political science before, now I'm not sure.

Classes were often random and it was very hard to take any actual notes. He loves Angel a lot, so make sure you check if there are any assignments due that he doesn't mention in class. He's a nice guy though, and if you work hard on the huge paper(s) that he gives you, you'll do ok.

I didn't like him at first, but as the semester ended, I realized I did like him a lot. Very smart, and unique in his own way. Changed the way I think about a lot of things. Classes were disorganized but he tells good stories. Grades fairly, but a little too excited about ANGEL.

Bob is one of the best teachers I've had. Though it may seem like discussion is random, he totally does know what he is doing in class. He really cares about student growth, development and preparation for the "real world." Though sometimes you may not understand where he is going in class, if you can trust him, you will see the connections.

Taking class with him was such a mistake. We never have any tests so all of your grades are based on like two things- a twelve page paper, the final exam (which is very hard) and another project. He claims that nothing in class is random, but no one ever takes notes because discussions don't relate to the readings. Class is very liberal.

Okay, so Trudeau is the best - end of story. The man is always so into the students and what he is teaching, his class is a pleasure to attend! If you want a teacher and a class that will literally take you for a ride, you have to take Trudeau. And, I have never seen the guy in a bad mood, he is always smiling! Receives my HIGHEST recommendation.

Don't remember exact class :( A great professor who truly wants his students to love the subject as much as he does. Lots of work and discussion, but always interesting. Reading assignments usually very worthwhile and well-chosen. A hippie, but too many conservative teachers at PC anyway.

an awesome and interesting guy. hes got the best stories and while there is a lot of work, its all worth it and you can learn a lot and really, its not that hard, but you have to work to do well. totally recommended
