Bock is an excellent professor. He gives packets at the end of class to work on. Do the packets, pass the class. Pay attention, pass the class. It's simple. People tend to get lazy and focus on how hard "calc" may seem and thus fail to do well. He's an awesome professor.

I haven't had a professor that I hated more than Dr. Bock. He is arrogant and unwilling to help. When asking questions he makes you feel insignificant and stupid. I ended up taking this course off campus because of the experience I had with Dr. Bock.

If youre good at math and know calculus really well then Bock is your guy. I found the class to be too fast and the information seemed to be breezed over. He is also a hard grader! As a person he is really likable though

I was horrible in Calc and passed w/ a C in Calc I and B in Calc II. But Bock made Calculus very approachable and is by far the best math teacher. So if you stink at math take him. If you're amazing in math, still take him cause he has no strict attendance policy. He's very helpful with study sessions and his tests are very straightforward...
