He's a good guy. Really nice and he keeps it real. The only reason everyone has something bad to say is because they didnt work for their A. Like they said in "highschool". You dont just get an A, You earn. So complain about that. Mr. Banks your the best. The rest of them dont matter.

Mr. Banks is a great guy. I didn't really learn anything in his class. The projects are tough and will weed out the weak ones who can't make it in upper level engineering courses. I didn't like going to his class, he'd have some TA's doing some instruction who can't speak english. The guys' hilarious though!

He is not a smart person. he assigns homework he doesn't understand. He lectures on life lessons that are not associated with the class ex. he told us not to smoke crack like once a week. i dont know why siue even lets him teach. If you want to learn anything useful in ime 106 take the other prof there are only 2 of them

This guy is horrible at teaching. He will lecture you on everything except the class material, because he does not know the stuff he is teaching. He just reads slides, which obviously were written by somebody else. The guy is funny as hell though and probably a good guy, but he should be at a community college.

Very good at getting the class motivated. His soap box talks were very inspirational. I was surprised that he wasn't more knowledgeable about the basics of significant figures and statistics. He did motivate the various projects with ease and had confidence in students even when they didn't show much enthusiasm.

i have to give it to him. very helpful person.tries to make sure he carries the whole class along with him. ensures we understand what we are doing i took this class in the spring of 04 and i did pretty good. i could have done better if i studied a little more. those who studied did good.good job

Absolute, complete moron. My grade suffered by 20% because his answer keys were wrong. My group got an F on a project because we didn't meet over spring break (I live 300 miles from the university!). Take MATH106 instead, the other prof is an idiot too
